Install Ruby 2.x on Linux Mint 17.3

Linux Mint 17.3 (based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) comes with an old Ruby version (1.9.1). To get Ruby 2.2, I use the PPA provided by Brightbox team. I followed the instructions listed Basically, do:

sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:brightbox/ruby-ng
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ruby2.2 ruby2.2-dev

ruby -v
# Output: ruby 2.2.4p230 (2015-12-16 revision 53155) [x86_64-linux-gnu]

gem -v
# Output:

To test, try:

sudo gem install bundler
